Psychosocial support for particularly vulnerable children

The project focuses on psychosocial support for particularly vulnerable children with autism spectrum disorder or other intellectual disabilities and their families, primarily those who left Ukraine unexpectedly as a result of the war. Many of these children do not have access to sufficient support from the Czech social and education system because of the language barrier, overloaded existing services or financial hardship.

Activities implemented within the project:

  • An individual plan of assessment and therapy;
  • Psychosocial consultations for parents/caregivers;
  • Organising and covering the cost of non-psychological services.
